From 14 July, Snoopy will take centre stage in an anniversary exhibition about the world-famous comic strip series Peanuts by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz.
The gloomy black-and-white Beagle, his feathered friend Woodstock, the baseball-playing Charlie Brown and other well-known Peanuts characters will be celebrating their 60th anniversary in the Nederlands Stripmuseum Groningen.
On 14 July, Snoopy will open the exhibition and admission is free for visitors who are the same age as Snoopy. This exhibition is made possible with the contribution of the Dutch agent of Peanuts, Wavery Productions, and provides an overview of sixty years of Peanuts with comic strips, sketches and advertisements.
The exhibition is on display until 12 September. www.stripmuseum.nl
